Spring Team Tennis – Entry Closing

Dear Members, Entry will be closing for Spring Team Tennis tomorrow evening (Thursday) at 6pm. This fun mixed doubles competition will run over 3 weeks starting next week. Team Tennis is a fun, social, doubles team event, open to all members.  Everyone who signs up is matched with a partner and put on a team. The aim is that each pairing plays other pairings of a similar level. In order to achieve this we need players from across all levels and abilities within the Club to sign up. Reminder – Leinster Regional Spring League

Dear Members, Just a reminder that sign up for the Leinster Tennis Regional Spring Leagues is open under Leagues within the Events tile. Deadline for entering teams is February 10, so please sign up if you would like to take part. The League is broken down into 5 divisions from Beginners to Class 2. A minimum number of players will be required for CWLTC to enter a team in any of the 5 divisions. Matches are played on Sunday mornings at 11am and the 2025 League starts on Sunday March 2, with the finals taking place on Sunday May 25. Each team consists of 4 players (4 men…

Conor Niland Shortlisted for Book Awards

Dear Member, Conor Niland, the former Irish professional tennis player, who won the CWLTC Open in 2004, has had his book "The Racket" shortlisted for two awards at the forthcoming An Post Irish Book Awards 2024. Members of the public are invited to vote for some of the award categories.
