Throughout the year

In house competitions include the Junior Tennis Ladder, Box Leagues, Team Tennis events, Round Robin events.  These events are organised regularly throughout the year. Signup will be available on SmartClub and on the Junior WhatsApp groups.

Junior Club Championship

The junior club championship is the main competition in our annual junior schedule of events. All types of players are catered for in this competition including advanced, intermediate and beginners. The draw would normally be seeded with the best players expected to advance through to the final rounds while the intermediate and beginner players group together in plate and sub events. There are multiple age category events in singles, doubles and mixed.

The CWLTC junior open championship takes place annually in June. It is a Tennis Ireland sanctioned tournament attracting the top players from around country. There are multiple age category events doubles and mixed. To see previous years results click year link below.

CWLTC also run Open Tennis 10s event at Easter catering for U8, U9 and U10 players.

External Competitions

Stars & Stripes is a friendly doubles tennis competition played against local clubs. It allows U12 , U14 and U17 junior players ranked above 40 the opportunity to play tennis against
similar players from other clubs and is a great way to introduce your child to competitive
tennis. The competition runs twice a year in Spring and Autumn.

The club also completes in Junior DLTC and Leinster leagues. Junior Members are also
supported to transition to adult league.

Junior members regularly compete on the Tennis Ireland Junior Tour / ITF Junior and Tennis
Europe Events.
