Welcome to County Wicklow Lawn Tennis Club

CWLTC is a club in every sense of the word built on fun, friendship and a place where you feel you are welcome. Whether you prefer competition or social tennis, mid-week or weekend, day or night play…. there’s a category at CWLTC for you. With a fully licensed bar, and over 600 happy members across all age groups and standards waiting to welcome you, what better place could there be to enjoy the best sport in the world?

See what our members have to say.

I only knew one other member in the club when I joined CWLTC in 2009. I hadn't played tennis for many years, but very quickly I met other members and was playing regularly. Everyone is so friendly and there is always a great atmosphere . I always look forward to going to the club whether it is to play a game or to a social evening. I would highly recommend joining, no matter what level of tennis you play .
"I have been a member of Co. Wicklow Lawn Tennis Club since July 2019. I had often thought about joining but eventually took the plunge and have no regrets. I guess you always have a worry that your standard of play might not work at a Club. I hadn’t played for over 30 years but I now play regularly (twice a week) and have found everyone to be so friendly, welcoming and supportive. I’m delighted that my wife has also now joined and we love the community feeling within the club and how much it is helping us to play and enjoy tennis. If you're thinking about it, just go for it you won’t regret it."
"CWLTC is a fantastic members run club for all the family. I joined in 2017 as a beginner and thought i would only be playing with my kids but soon found out there were people of all levels and was quickly introduced to a group of ladies to play with. CWLTC is a very friendly and inviting club for both adults and children alike no matter what age or skill level."
Ileana and I joined the club as complete novices in 2015. We were a little aprehensive at first due to our complete lack of previous experience but we need not have been. The existing members were so generous with their time and since there are always new people joining there are always new people to play. The social aspect to the club is excellent. We have had so many memorable nights. The highlight of the year is open week were you can get out a deck chair and watch amazing Tennis with a Steak and a beer while chatting with friends. We are so happy we decided to join."
“I’ve been a member since I was a teenager and continued my membership to date. Now in my fifties we have a family membership, myself, my wife and two children regularly play tennis, it is one sport that families can do together. The club will have new courts and floodlights in 2020, so offering the best facilities. There is a great social side, with regular events, new members are integrated quickly and made to feel welcome. I would recommend the club to anyone.”
"I have been a member, a relatively short time only 10 years. I had never played tennis before and did not know too many people in the club when I joined with my wife and children. I have always found the club members to be friendly and welcoming. The club has excellent facilities and is always investing, to continue to improve these. The club also has an active league participation so there is something for everyone. Tennis is a great sport for all ages and I’d encourage anyone considering a new individual or family sport to try tennis and join CWLTC."
