Sign up for Blue and Gold mixed doubles tournament is now open on Smart Club within the Events tile, under Leagues.
This is a fun mixed doubles tournament that takes place on Friday evenings at 7.30pm amongst a number of clubs in south county Dublin.
There are 12 teams divided between 2 sections, blue and gold, and as with all interclub competitions matches will be either home or away, with the home team providing post-match refreshments.
The first round of matches are due to take place on Friday February 23, and finals night will be held in Lansdowne LTC on Friday April 12.
Each team consists of 4 mixed doubles pairings as follows:
1st pairing Class 3/4
2nd pairing Class 5/6
3rd pairing Class 7/8
4th pairing Non-League
As there are only 8 players on the team, and pairings are based on Classes, places are limited and will be assigned on a first come first served basis.
We will endeavour to have a squad of 16 so we have 4 players (2 men and 2 ladies) per doubles class pairing.
