Dear Members,
DLTC Winter Leagues 2023 are commencing on January 22, 2023 and sign up is now available on Smart Club. We have also included a ‘subs only’ sign up, if you are not in a position to commit for the duration of the campaign.
The sign up deadline is December 10 and in order to determine teams in a fair manner, the Tennis Committee plan to arrange play-offs in mid-December and in early January.
Winter League is open to all members who are aged 14 as at December 31, 2022. Whilst we are aware of the usual pairings, please text a member of the Tennis Committee to be sure we have them correct.
We have entered 5 men’s teams and 5 ladies teams, and each team consists of 3 doubles pairings. Generally, the men’s matches take place on Sunday mornings at 11am and the Ladies on Sunday afternoons at 2.00pm.
The Club had extremely successful 2022 Winter League campaigns and let’s hope that we can have similar successes in 2023.
