Dear Members, The Tennis Committee would like to announce a new event in the club calendar this year - the inaugural CWLTC Spring Singles Championships. The competition will run over two weeks during the course of the Easter holidays. This tournament is a singles only event and will rival the Club Championships in importance. Team Tennis is an event for all levels and abilities in the club. We would especially encourage new members to join in as it is a great way to get some games and meet new people. Dear Members, The Easter Cup returns this year and is open to men aged 35 and over, who are class 8 or non-league players. This is a long running social and fun competition played between clubs in / around south county Dublin.  Matches are played at 11am on a Saturday morning, either home or away.  The competition will run for 7 weeks and is starting on February 12.  Each team consists of 6 players and the doubles pairings are drawn on the day of the match. Dear Members, We are delighted to let you know that, following the easing of restrictions, the Club Bar will be reopening tomorrow evening and will be open each Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening as normal. We also hope to have the bar open for the Irish 6 Nations Rugby matches, with the first match kicking off at 2.15pm on Saturday February 5. In order to be able to open our Club Bar, we rely on the goodwill of our members. Dear Members, We have received a number of queries asking how junior members can to use the court floodlights. As you know, the floodlights can only be operated using the Club Smart Cards, which must be topped up with credit. We suggest the following solution, those parents/guardians who are members, please give your child the use of your card. For those parents/guardians who are NOT members a card can be printed for your child. The cost to print the card is €5 and to request a card please reply to this email.
