Friday Night Social Tennis & BBQs are back!!

Dear Members, Friday June 24th will see the first of our Summer BBQ’s in the club. Club Handicaps – Draw and Schedule published

Dear Members,   The draw and schedule for the Club Handicaps is now available here.   Matches are starting this Thursday and we would ask that if you are unable to play at your allotted time, please let the Tennis Committee know so that we may release the pre-booked courts to allow other members book the time slot.   Don’t forget: Short sets will be played. Court Booking and Clubhouse Facilities

Dear Members,   In recent months demand for our courts has increased and the General Committee is very aware of this and are actively monitoring court usage.  We would like to take this opportunity to remind all members of etiquette around court usage.   If you have booked a court and are unable to play, as courtesy to fellow members, please cancel the court giving sufficient time for someone else to avail of that particular time slot. Summer League fixtures – please read

Dear Members, The Tennis Committee would like to advise all members of the forthcoming Summer League fixtures. This is the first time since 2019 that DLTC have been able to run Summer Leagues and it is great to see competitive tennis back on the calendar. Summer Leagues are the premier event in the DLTC calendar and we have entered 4 ladies teams and 5 men's teams. As a result 5 courts will be required for league matches for approximately 2 hours four days per week . Summer League 2022 – sign up closing Saturday

Dear Members, Summer League is starting next Friday May 6, so if you haven't yet signed up yet and would like to play please do as soon as possible.  Sign up is open on Smart Club under 'Events' and will be closing on Saturday.   Each team consists of 7 players, 3 singles and 2 doubles pairings.  So when signing up please ensure that you select the appropriate event (singles or doubles), and don't worry about entering your doubles partner's name, we will be able to pair people up with their preferred partner. CWLTC Spring Singles Championships

Dear Members, The inaugural Spring Singles Championships was a roaring success. It was run over the Easter holidays and attracted 90 players which it a fantastic number for a singles only event. There where three separate levels of singles competition to appeal to members of all standards. Thanks to all members who took part, we hope you enjoyed the event. English language classes for new communities

Recycling Tennis Balls

Dear Members, We have been approached by someone who is researching ways to recycle tennis balls.  To help with this they need a large number of old tennis balls and have placed a blue container in the lobby to collect these from our members.
